Exploring an Energetic Pathway Towards Visvamitrasana
Named after an ambitious king who transformed himself into a yogic sage through dedicated practice, students will be encouraged to explore the kramas (stages) of Visvamitrasana within the context of Prana Vinyasa’s roots namaskars (sequences). Using the key actions of visvamitrasana, which is both a hip-opener, arm balance, hamstring stretch and twist, as a lens, we will explore multiple movement meditations that unlock the energy in the body needed to prepare for the embodiment of this beautiful asana.
